As Principal of Kent Road Public School I would like to extend a warm welcome to those visiting our website for the first time and welcome back to all others.  I am immensely proud of the high standard of achievement of our students, who work consistently to achieve their personal best in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits. 

 

At Kent Road Public School we are dedicated to supporting each child so that they develop confidence, self-respect, and a passion for learning. We encourage our students to laugh, to play and to enjoy learning. These are vital ingredients in supporting the growth of flexible, resilient problem-solvers ready to meet any challenge. We see ourselves as a community of learners; eager to improve and to do the best we can for ourselves and for others.

Our school curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best when their experiences at school are structured to take account of different learning styles. Whilst literacy and numeracy are at the heart of our teaching we provide an enriched, innovative and diverse curriculum.

It is with the ongoing support of dedicated staff, parents and community members that together we are able to work toward securing quality education in a highly supportive and caring environment for all our students.

We each have a unique role to play in guiding our students to achieve their potential. I have a strong belief that if we keep the students central to every decision we make, our school will continue to provide a safe and friendly environment where every child is important.
